Box Culverts
- Cast-In-Place Concrete Drainage Structures
From simple extensions to quad monolithic pours: designed, formed, and executed in-house.
Southern Structural builds cast-in-place box culverts for FDOT, municipalities, and general contractors across Central Florida. Every project is turn-key. We handle design coordination, formwork, rebar, and pour, so one team owns it from first sketch to final inspection.
We work in active roadways, wetland-adjacent sites, and tight municipal corridors where schedule isn’t flexible and quality isn’t negotiable. Whether it’s a single barrel extension or a quad monolithic structure, we’ve built it, and we’ve delivered it on time.
Scope of Services
Our box culvert work covers the full spectrum of cast-in-place concrete drainage and crossing structures for public and private infrastructure projects throughout Florida.
We self-perform all formwork, rebar installation, and concrete placement in-house, no subcontracting the critical work. That means tighter schedules, cleaner coordination, and one point of accountability from mobilization to final pour.
- Single, double, and quad barrel CIP culverts
- Culvert extensions on active roadways
- Monolithic wall, deck, and wing pours
- Flared end sections and headwalls
- Full design package coordination
- FDOT and municipal spec compliance
- Wetland-adjacent and environmentally sensitive sites
- Turn-key formwork and shoring systems
Our Approach
Every box culvert project starts with a pre-construction review of site conditions, drainage requirements, and schedule constraints. We build our formwork systems in-house and cycle them efficiently.
We don’t wait on subcontractors. Our crew handles forming, steel, and pour, so when conditions change on a live site, we adapt without losing days waiting on a third party.
